Spanner & Code respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we look after it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

From you: your name, business details, phone, email and the answers you give on our free chat and onboarding forms.
From your customers: when your customers use your booking page, we store the details they enter (such as name, phone, address and job details) so you can see them in your dashboard. We hold this on your behalf.
When you use the dashboard: your login, and for help requests, the page you were on, your browser and any screenshot you choose to send.

How we use it

To set up, run and support your booking system.
To contact you about your account, invoices and changes that affect you.
To reply to free chat requests and help requests.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't use your customers' details for our own marketing.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run parts of the system, such as hosting, database and notification services, and only so they can provide that service. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. We'll otherwise only share information if the law requires it.

Cookies

We use a single cookie to keep you logged in to your dashboard. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping it safe

Each client can only see their own jobs and customers. We use secure logins and keep access to the minimum needed to support you.

Getting a copy or making a correction

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you. If you stop using Spanner & Code, we'll hand over a copy of your records and remove our access.
